Abstract

The sun is an incredible energy source at which point the sunlight radiates to the earth’s surface is transformed to electrical power via photovoltaic cells. However, a small portion of absorbed sunlight will be utilized in an electrical grid, while the remaining is lost in the form of heat. The rise in temperature negatively affects the cell’s efficiency and reduces the cell’s life span. In order to get rid of this side effect, many different cooling techniques were used. This paper is reviewing the existed technologies that are used to reduce the impact of temperature on (PV) performance that aims to achieve the highest efficiency.
